Tina has been an instructor at WCC since 1998. Prior to this time, she worked in private practice and at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital. Tina has consulted and accompanied other faculty in conducting four-handed dentistry seminars. She has served as the President and numerous other board positions of the Michigan Dental Assistants Association and Washtenaw District Dental Assistants Society, making her an active voice in the field of dental assisting.
Jodi is the newest member who joined the dental assisting faculty in 2009. She graduated from the WCC Dental Assisting program in 2002 and worked in private practice for seven years. Jodi is active in her community with numerous dental health activities such as mouth guard clinics for local schools and children’s dental health day programs. She is also a member of the Michigan Dental Association Forensic Dental Identification Team and has served as President of Washtenaw District Dental Assistant Society.
All faculty members are graduates of WCC’s Dental Assisting program, members of the ADAA, MDAA and WDDAS, members of the Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures (OSAP) and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) as well as being Michigan RDA board examiners.
